Problem description:
Cannot enter the dates of 1/2,1/4 or 3/4 into a cell.
The year entered makes no difference.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Format a cell as a date field.  Date format makes no difference.
2. Enter the date as 1/2, 1/4, 3/4, 1/2/yyyy, 1/4/yyyy or 3/4/yyyy. 
YYYY = any year.
3. ....

Current behavior:
Date will show as 1/2, 1/4 or 3/4.

Expected behavior:
See date as 01/02/2011, 01/04/2011, 03/04/2001 or what ever date format you choose.
