While using copy / paste combo (CTRL + C, CTRL + V) and cut / paste combo (CTRL + X, CTRL + V) on a text in a text-box Impress pastes an entire slide from which the text was copied. Checked under Win 7 (64 bit Home Edition)'t have opportunity to check that under other Win distributions.
Checked and found out that the bug occurs only after a slide has been added via a standard toolbar icon. It seems that the bug is somehow connected with the problem of invisible cursor after adding a new slide. For the time being the useful workaround is to switch to another application (ALT+TAB) and then switch back to impress.
