In a Spreadsheet, set the Zoom level to 85%.  Copy text from within a cell that is set to 10pt Arial.  Paste text into another cell, that text is now 8.5pt Arial.

If you set the Zoom to 100% this does not occur (i.e. copy 10pt, get 10pt on paste).

I do not reproduce with LO 3.5.0 rc1+ nor LO 3.4.5 under Ubuntu 11.10.
Please could you try again with the current release (3.4.5)?

Just upgraded the system to:
  LibreOffice 3.4.5 OOO340m1 (Build:502)

The issue still occurs.

To provide more detail on reproducing the issue:
  * Zoom to 85%
  * Double click in a cell with some known font formatting (e.g. Arial 10pt) applied
  * Select at least some of the text (by dragging over it in the cell)
  * Copy
  * Go to another Cell
  * Paste
  * Note that font in pasted text is Arial 8.5pt

I don't know a great deal about how LO is implemented on Mac OS X, but perhaps the issue is Mac-specific?
