Description Konrad 2012-01-30 09:07:24 UTC
There is bug in viewing of table of contents. In 3.3 it looks good, in 3.4 table looks worse and in 3.5 RC2 table has been totaly broken. Please, look at this file in different version of LibreOffice.

I work with Kubuntu 11.10 32bit. It was also tested on Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS 32bit.

PS. Conversion to PDF in 3.4 fixes draw objects in PDF file.

This is not a valid bug report!

Effect is [Reproducible] with "LibreOffice 3.5.0 RC2 German UI/Locale [Build-ID: e371a95-bf68a13-5a1aa2b-d3c1ae9-b938258] on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) and really serious, dataloss (document saved with 3.5.0 as "samplefromLibO330AsWord97fromLibO350.doc" will show the damages reopened with 3.3.0, regression blocker

I created a more simple teestkit2

Steps to reproduce:
Open (both created with LibO 3.3.0) "sample1.odt" and compare table of contents with the one in "samplefromLibO330AsWord97.doc". Should look identical, but view in "samplefromLibO330AsWord97.doc" ist completely broken, much of internal reference information like
"HYPERLINK \l "__RefHeading__40569_788391208" and similar shown.

Also 3.4 does not show TOC correctly, I will submit a separate report for those different problems.

@reporter:
Do you want to report more problems in your document?
May I ask you to read hints on <http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport> carefully?
Then please:
- keep in mind <http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport_Details#Version>,
submit new reports referring to sample here if you want to report additional
  problems
- Write a meaningful Summary describing exactly what the problem is
- Attach a sample document (not only screenshot)
- Attach screenshots with comments if you believe that that might explain the
problem better than a text comment. Best way is to insert your screenshots
into a DRAW document and to add comments that explain what you want to show
- Contribute a step by step instruction containing every key press and every
mouse click how to reproduce your problem (and if possible how to created a
  sample document from the scratch)
- add information
  -- what EXACTLY is unexpected
-- and WHY do you believe it's unexpected (cite Help or Documentation!)
-- concerning your PC (video card, ...)
-- concerning your OS (Version, Distribution, Language)
-- concerning your LibO version and localization (UI language, Locale setting)
–- Libo settings that might be related to your problems
    (video hardware acceleration ...)
-- how you launch LibO and how you opened the sample document
-- everything else crossing your mind after you read linked texts
