I'd like to do the following:

If – lets say – datafield 'status' in a grids row is x, draw the text or the background in that row in a certain color. I think this could be a very useful feature for many base-users out there. Is this already planned?

For long rows or tables splitted into two table-controls colored rows are an important enhancement.
I have wished this enhancement in 2010 to OpenOffice, but nothing happens:

Thanks for new useful idea. I agree that this is useful feature. Not only for Base, but for Calc too. But, as many other features, it useful only if users can quick enable it when needed, and disable when not needed.
So propose:
- Add button for menubar for quick enable and disable this functionality
- Remember this setting per table or form in Base and per sheet in Calc

Shows different colors alteranting with the lines

Many database-administrating-programs use colored rows, because wide tables could be overseen better. For example phpmyadmin. There you could mark rows with one color and the row, where the cursor is, is marked with another color. Orientation in such a table could be much better than now.

When one row in one tablecontrol of a form is marked and there is a second tablecontrol in the same form, the rows in the second tabelecontrol mus be marked too. Currently only one row is marked, but the rows-maker is at he same position on both tablecontrols.

Changing priority back to 'medium' since the number of duplicates is lower than 5
