Small doc file with a picture

You are writing a document saved to .doc format that contains inserted pictures (see minimal example attached).

The picture is displayed with size 10 x 6.67 cm.

Writer crashes for whatever reason (simulated here by using kill -9). When the document opens again, and is recovered, the picture has size 10.05 x 6.72 cm.

This error is not consistent, it doesn't happen every time a crash occurs, although it seems more likely to happen with a larger complex document with many pictures, bookmark-based bibliography, etc.

The error can compound itself, i.e. if several crashes occur, at each crash the picture changes size a bit more.

Best regards,

Ramon.

Thanks for bugreport
It is .doc opening problem. When doc file opened by Writer, picture increases by 0.5 mm. When saving, no problem.
With tables similar problem exist.
Reproduced in 3.3.4, 3.4.3 and 3.5.1.2

Similar problem with changing size:
Bug 43170 - compatibility with MS Word: width of the last column in the tables that have borderlines increases

Does this issue still exist? In LibreOffice 3.5.4 from Debian Wheezy the picture size is 10.05x6.72cm, in 4.2.5 the size is 10.00x6.67 cm, but in both cases I do not see increase after kill -9 and recovery. I make 5-10 attempts.
