A company logo can appear in lots of places in company documents (for example, in different places on right/left/landscape pages, etc) Right now writer requires adding a new image to the document for every page style There should be a way to select an image in a writer document and duplicate it (same size and metadata, changing one instance changes all)
> changing one instance changes all What changing mean? Changing image itself in raster editor or changing size (and some other properties) inside of document?
Changing the image itself (for example after corporate rebranding, change all instances of image a of size b to image c of size d)
Thanks for additional explanation. My be this can be implemented using Basic macro.

May be such functionality already exist among OpenOffice or LibreOffice extensions. Please, verify.
It does not exist and this is a core RFE
Thanks for additional search for extensions
In LibreOffice 5.2.1.2 is still not implemented an image clone/link function.
