Problem description: I use a LibreCalc-File to store private data. This file is password protected. The file was created with a previous version of LibreCalc. If I try to open this file with LibreCalc 3.4.5 OOO340m1 (Build:502) the error occured "password wrong". If I open the same file with a previous version of LibreCalc the file will be opened using the password. Current behavior: Password access prevented Expected behavior: Opening file with entering password and accessing the file Platform (if different from the browser): Ubuntu 11.10 32bit Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:11.0) Gecko/20120208 Firefox/11.0 SeaMonkey/2.8
How many characters has your password? Can you reproduce this problem by creating a document with 3.3 and fail to open it with 3.4.5?
(In reply to comment #1) > How many characters has your password? Can you reproduce this problem by creating a document with 3.3 and fail to open it with 3.4.5? My password has 9 characters. The problem is repoducable. If I try to create a password protected file in 3.4.5 I cannot save the created file. I work on 3.3

If I try to create a password protected file in 3.4.5 I cannot save the created file. It works on Libreoffice 3.3. I try to create a file in the latest Fuduntu with Libreoffice 3.4.5 OOO340m1 Build 502. The will be created and saved.
Today I installed LibreOffice 3.5.0rc3 Build-ID: 7e68ba2-a744ebf-1f241b7-c506db1-7d53735. This Version do not contain the error. Creating, saving and opening a password protected is possible. This test was made with Ubuntu 11.10 64bit.
duplicate of Bug 45171?
Can someone of you provide me a testdocument that fails to open in 3.4.5 with password test and only a 2 in A1 under MPL/LGPLv3+? I can't generate one myself but I would like to create a test case for it and push it at least to master and if all agree also to 3-5 to prevent that for the next releases.
