Highlight several adjacent cells (I did it horizontally.) Command + C to copy. Highlight a different range of cells (I did it vertically.) Press Command + Shift + V Nothing happens. Select Edit\Paste Special Nothing happens. Copying a single cell, Highlighting a range of cells and Pressing Command + Shift + V Displays the Paste Special pop up as expected. I can confirm this behaviour with LibO 3.5.1 release on OS: Windows Xp Pro SP3 CPU: Intel Core i5-2410M 2.30 GHz RAM: 3 GB Copying source selection (more than one cell) selecting target Area SHIFT-CTRL-V doesn't work AND menu "Paste special" is inactive Copying ONE cell selecting target Area SHIFT-CTRL-V AND menu "Paste special" work
We have "Bug 46250 - EDITING: Paste and Paste Special not available for horizontally adjacent cells to horizontal cell selection", it seems that here one oft the aspects there is described. @capelz@gmail.com, all: Can you please check some more details (for example: only horizontal direction affected) and mark this one as DUP if you agree with my suspect?
can't see that this is anything but a regression, see details in the other bug & if necessary reopen if you dissagree *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 46250 ***
(In reply to comment #3) > can't see that this is anything but a regression I meant to say duplicate of course
