Thanks for new idea
Currently Calc behaves exactly as msExcel 2007. Excel also not searches in comments.
Please, formulate it as functionality request and provide few examples, why it useful

The feature is there, just doesn't work. There is option "Notes" in "Search in", but cannot find anything.

Confirmed in LO 4.1.3.2 under Windows. Changing from ENHANCEMENT to NORMAL.

Hi.. I think it's the same with Bug 65334. Marking this as duplicate, even it's reported earlier, since that bug already bisected.

Please reopen if this bug report considered as different.
