When meaning to write a date (such as: 3/4/2012) I saw a bug where as soon as you write "3/4" and you type another keystroke, it will turn the "3/4" to a franction and not allow you to actually write a date. I think the solution should be to wait until a "space" keystroke is entered and then run the rewrite rules. I apologize for not being too technical.

Version: 3.5.0rc3 (wasn't on the Version dropdown)

The problem here is the autocorrect function. In the replacement list are entries for 1/2, 1/4 and 3/4 to be replaced by special characters.

Workaround:1) disable autocorrect temporaly, 2) delete the 3 entries from the replacement table.

CALC has the same problem.

Word and Excel do not have the replacement in their lists.
