Problem description: 

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open or create a document.
2. Write and edit your document.
3. Try not to be distracted by the popups.

Current behavior:
Popup UI is distracting.

Expected behavior:
If I want to make a change I will make it.
This is open-sources's bane: adding me-too features without proper deliberation. Many writers will be annoyed by the UI pop-up widgets.

Yes, this 'feature' is completely useless and made only to flex 'developer''s e-peen.
