this docx crashes libre office

I'm unable to open attached docx, libreoffice 3.5 crashes. Open office 3.3 does not crash, but does not display the table object.

Confirmed with LibO 3.4.5 and LibO 3.5.1 RC2 (=final) on Windows XP / Vista64. LibO crashes while loading the file.

Works fine with LibO 3.3.4 (and Word 2007).

This is a regression

Thanks for confirmation, I agree. Does your 3.3.4 display also the table in docx? I needed to convert the docx to doc first (used some online tool) to see the table too, but the table was uneditable after the conversion.

Yes, it displays the table in docx too. It text looks like in Word 2007, the display quality of the table (fonts) and the logo is slightly better in Word 2007.

I can edit the table (embedded Excel table) in Word 2007, it seems to work in LibO 3.3.4 too (Calc table; tested only superficially).

Thank you. I tried 3.4.5, which is the oldest I'm able to obtain, but it crashes too. Shame, that they don't keep copies of older releases for a while :-(

I will have to use open office 3.3, but I won't see the table though. Shucks.

I also had some crashes when trying to open a docx file that had pdf's embedded into it running 3.5.1 on Windows 7

It however opens in 3.5.2 but the 2nd pdf icon is not visible

@zombie,
Could you please test again with version 3.5.2? I've tested 3.5.2 on Windows XP and it opens fine without crash.

Please file a separate bug report, thanks!

Retested with LibO 3.5.2 on Windows XP. It works.

Wow, it seems to be working fine now! A big thank you for fixing this, you can close this bug as fixed.

Great to hear this :-)
Anyway, there is no specific fix, WORKSFORME is more appropriate. But don't worry, I change the status along with this comment. :-) Thanks!
