Open a presentation (or create a new one), insert some slides, then change the viewing mode to "notes". Press "Normal" to select the normal view -> Impress crashes. The problem is, that this happens not always, but in ca. 90%.
No crash on pc Debian x86-64 with master updated today. (no specific error/warn messages) (compiling 3.5 branch right now, so can't tell for 3.5 for the moment).
I don't reproduce it with 3.5 branch too. Mac Os Specific bug ? Could you give your MacOs version ? Could you test from console/terminal to see if there are error/warn messages ?
I'm using Mac Os X Lion (10.7.3). Unfortunately I'm not very familiar with the terminal? Should I file the crash-report?
If you have some time, it could be interesting you test with last 3.4.X version ? For the moment, the last one is 3.4.5 but in some days, there should be 3.4.6 (see http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleasePlan/3.4). Anyway, great it works in 3.5.1, thank you for your feedback.
Sorry for the comment 4, i was on the wrong bug. (it was for fdo#47633). About terminal, i know how to do with Linux. With Mac, I don't know :-( You should ask on IRC.
After a few tests I think the problem is linked with the "accessibility-feature" of Mac OS X, like some other reported bugs of LO 3.5.1. So when you turn off this feature, everything is fine. If you turn it on, LO shows an unexpected behavior and crashes very often. Julian, can you forward this to the Mac-developers? Greetings, Reiner
I had already told about that on dev mailing list, see http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/About-LO-Mac-OS-bugs-which-appear-if-accessibility-options-enabled-tp3845211p3845211.html *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 43768 ***

Alex
Methinks it should be duplicate of 47368 and not 43768 !! Alex *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 47368 ***

Not reproducible with : LibreOffice 3.5.1.2 Version ID : dc9775d-05ecbee-0851ad3-1586698-727bf66 on Mac OSX SnowLeopard 10.6.8 (Macbook Pro) Alex
Not reproducible with : LOdev 3.6.0alpha0+ Build ID: 278c53c-19dcfb4-e67b1b on Mac OSX SnowLeopard 10.6.8 (Macbook Pro) Alex
For the record: I tried to reproduce this bug with Norbert’s debug version of 3.6.0.2+ and "Enable access for assistive devices" checked and RightZoom installed, but I could not manage to reproduce the crash.
Mac Accessibility Related Bugs Survey Results --------------------------------------------- It is hard to tell for sure without a stack trace, but from the description I guess that this is very probably the same issue as in bug 50147. (I can’t prove this because I can’t reproduce both bugs myself, even with “Enable access for assistive devices” checked, but it seems still very probable.) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 50147 ***
