Cannot print multiple copies of documents. 1) LibreOffice 3.5.2.2 Build ID: 350m1(Build:202) on ArchLinux 2) Bug was present in 3.5.1 but not 3.4.5 3) Printer: HP Laserjet 1100, CUPS with any of hpijs, hpcups or Gutenberg driver. 4) PSLevel=0 in /etc/libreoffice/psprint.conf 5) Changing PSPrint to any other setting has no effect. Steps to reproduce: 1) Open document 2) Select File->Print 3) Select LJ1100 9the default in my case) 4) Select multiple copies, either collated or not 5) Click Print Printer will print a single copy. Workaround: Between steps 3 and 4 above: 1) In Print dialog go to Properties->Device 2) Change 'Printer Language Type' from PDF to 'Postscript (level from Driver). The change of Printer Language Type does not 'stick' and has to be changed every time a document is printed.
Steps to reproduce without a printer: 1) Have PSLevel=0 (default) in /etc/libreoffice/psprint.conf 2) Create a new document, type "foo" 3) Print, with the following settings: - 2 copies - print to file 4) save to a file foo.pdf 5) open file with evince: it will only have one page
As related bug 46904 reports in comment 18 that a fix has been commited: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46904#c18 please check if the bug is still present in 3.5.3 or later.
Yes, I see this bug with LibreOffice 3.5.4 (stock Ubuntu 12.04).
Seeing on workaround, it is duplicate of Bug 44664
This is not a duplicate of that bug. I will test on 3.6.1.2 this evening to see what I can find out.
Confirmed. Libo: 3.6.1.2 Bodhi Linux Marking as NEW and prioritizing. Minor: Doesn't prevent professional quality work, instead just a minor inconvenience/annoyance High: Seems like any user that ever wants to print more than one copy would face this problem and it is quite annoying. Also doesn't reflect well on LibO to have an option to print copies but that option not work by default.
@ Alex Please, do not change here anything. Create separate bugreport for Windows instead. Changing back to 3.5.2 release, Linux, 64
