Created attachment 61698 [details] Excel 2007 (xlsx) file Running LibreOffice 3.5.3.2 in Ubuntu 12.04 (32bit). I have found issues in some cases with the "#" formatting character resulting in different formatting in some cases in LibreOffice 3.5.3.2, compared to Microsoft Excel 2007. I have created a simple test case, using Excel 2007 in Windows 7, using two different formats using the "#" character, one of which displays the same between LibreOffice and Excel and one that does not. #,##0.00;[Red]-#,##0.00 - same display ##0.000E+00 - different display As well as the Excel document (xlsx) I have attached two pdf files, that show the different displays in LibreOffice and Excel.
