Steps to reproduce: In a blank Writer file, click File -> Print... -> General tab -> button Properties... -> Device tab -> Printer Language type, and select PostScript Level 3, then press the OK button. Current behavior: When navigating to the dialog containing the Printer Language setting again, it is set to PostScript Level 2. (If one chose PostScript Level 1, then when one returns it would still show Level 1.) Expected behavior: PostScript Level 3 should persist as Printer Language setting. Browser/Platform: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/535.19 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu/11.10 Chromium/18.0.1025.168 Chrome/18.0.1025.168 Safari/535.19 Downstream bug report at: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/981606
@bernard, you can fix this behaviour with the program spdamin located in program directory of Libo. here on my Ubuntu 12.04 /opt/lodev4.0/program/spadmin once fixed in this program, it will be set correctly on file - print. Ubuntu 12.04 64Bits - Libo 4.0b1
Bernhard Reiter, one may use spadmin as noted in https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50358#c1 to change the default settings. In Ubuntu repo LO, one may launch spadmin at a terminal: sh /usr/lib/libreoffice/program/spadmin As well, the 3.5.x branch is no longer supported as per https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleasePlan#3.5_release . If you can reproduce the problem in a supported branch, please reopen this report. Thank you for your understanding.
