On the Ask.LO site, there's a bad URL on the FAQ page: http://ask.libreoffice.org/faq/ The bad URL is at the bottom "Please [ask] your question, help make our community better!" -- the url appears to have an uninterpreted variable in it: http://ask.libreoffice.org/faq/%(ask_question_url)s Also (re:formatting) there are some escaped quotes displayed as text on the page: 'which are called \"karma points\" '
Both reproducible
Can someone please check this?
What's the current status of this bug? It's been months since filed, it shouldn't take long to fix, and Rainer even gave it a poke. The delay is reflecting poorly on our ability to be seen as an agile and active development community, and reinforces fears that LO is not able to stack up to the competition. I'm fine filing bugs from the sidelines. I'm also happy to jump in and help fix bugs myself. Please let me know if help is needed.
My mistake, we should have asked the maintainer
Qubit, as you now have access to the Ask VM, did you find a way to fix it? If not, let's not invest many efforts, as we will migrate Ask anytime soon anyways
This broken link now appears to have been fixed. The link in the text "Please [ask] your question ..." now works correctly from what I can tell. I am setting this bug to RESOLVED as FIXED. Thanks to whoever did the work on this.
Oh sorry, I just realised this bug also mentioned "escaped quotes" and cites the \"karma points\" example, which still exists. As if that were not enough, I have also noticed a Right-Pointing Double Angle Quotation Mark (U+00bb) after the "Login Now!" link under the "To register, do I need to create new password?" section. Am resetting status to REOPENED. Apologies.
fixed
