Hi,

Thank you for your interest on this matter

>Now the string is actually: "Words: 1000 Selected: 5" so it shouldn't be a
>problem to add separators back.

It is fine :)

Zeki

I would agree this would be nice improvement and seems like an Easy Hack.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open WRITER
2. Open a larger document or create a new text document with more than 1.000 characters or words
3. Go to the menu TOOLS -> WORD COUNT

Result: The word count shows no thousands separators.

@Muhammad: You have inserted you as "Assigned to". Is this correct, that you want to take care of it and program a solution?
Comment 3 Muhammad Haggag 2013-05-05 15:35:41 UTC
I worked on it for a bit, but dropped it due to life distractions. I've reverted the assignment so that people can pick it up if they're interested. I'll look into it if I get some time.

This should also be done for FILE -> PROPERTIES -> tab STATISTICS like in TOOLS -> AUTOCORRECT OPTIONS -> tab WORD COMPLETION -> max. entries
