[correct version of the previous post:]

> This document was created from MS Word but i don't know when or how.
There are some traces from a German version of MS Word or OOo in the file (some references to "Absatz-Standardschriftart" and the string "Microsoft Word-Dokument"). But I don't know if this means anything.

REPRODUCIBLE with
* LibreOffice 3.5.5.3 (Build-ID: 7122e39-92ed229-498d286-15e43b4-d70da21),
* LibreOffice 3.6.0.4 (Build ID: 932b512),
both with German langpack installed, on MacOS X 10.6.8 (Intel).

Just as the original reporter wrote: after deleting all the (mostly empty) paragraphs I saved the document as a new .doc file, closed it, opened it again -- and all the (mostly empty) paragraphs are there again.

Can someone else please test on Windows/Linux?
Comment 3 Alexandr 2014-07-15 06:10:43 UTC
Reproducible with LibreOffice 4.3.0.2 on Debian Jessie x86_64.
Comment 4 Gordo 2015-04-25 13:56:04 UTC
Could not reproduce.

Opened document. There was one page with images in header and footer and one empty paragraph in the body. Turned on Show Changes in Track Changes and empty paragraphs are marked as deleted. Accepted All in Manage Changes and saved document. Closed and reopened document and everything that should have been deleted has been deleted.

Windows Vista 64
