Description gerdl 2012-08-02 08:20:10 UTC
create a writer document
write something
try to save as ascii-text-file
only the option text (csv) appears.
the file is the stored as name.csv.

when you try to read that file libreoffice crashes either or a calc-file is read.

there a now problems to read a formerly created file with the ending *.txt.

windows explorer crashed then on my computer trying to rename the file name.csv.

2.8.2012 thank you

On pc Debian x86-64, with master sources and 3.6, both updated today, I reproduced partly.
Only 2 csv options appeared for text (Text and Text encoded).
Then a dialog box proposed to save in Text Format or ODF Format. I used Text Format. I had a text file named with csv suffix.

However I can open a txt file normally with Writer.

Noticed this log for 3.6 and master:
warn:legacy.tools:32171:1:/home/julien/compile-libreoffice/libo/sfx2/source/dialog/filtergrouping.cxx:362: ReferToFilterEntry::operator(): already have an element for this name!

Obviously a duplicate of 'Bug 52451 - UI: FILESAVE as Text (encoded) should offer .txt as file type and name extension'.

@gerdl:
I can *not* reproduce your described crashes with LibO 3.6.0.4 release
(on WinXP 32b).
Feel free to reopen this bug, if you see a significant difference to bug 52451.
