Steps to reproduce:
1. Use OSX 10.6.8 with recent Apple patches and recent Java runtime
2. Download the Mac 3.6.0 release
3. Start it - Boom - Crash! It is not usable
Crashes at startup
Should completely load
Platform (if different from the browser):
Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_8) AppleWebKit/537.4+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.5 Safari/533.21.1
Please start it from within Terminal, to see whether it outputs anything to stderr. If you have installed LibreOffice to /Applications, say, run "/Applications/LibreOffice.app/Contents/MacOS/soffice" from a Terminal window.
Please also note "Various problems with bundled extensions" at <https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/index.php?title=ReleaseNotes/3.6#Most_annoying_bugs> and the workaround suggested there.
it says the following:
UNO Exception: InvalidRegistryException: file:///Applications/LibreOffice.app/Contents/MacOS/../share/extensions/NLPSolver/components.rdb: duplicate <implementation name="com.sun.star.comp.Calc.NLPSolver.DEPSSolverImpl">
*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 53006 ***

Please see "Various problems with bundled extensions" at <https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/index.php?title=ReleaseNotes/3.6#Most_annoying_bugs> for a workaround ("On Mac OS X, in a Terminal window enter “rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/LibreOffice/3/user/extensions”.")
Thanks, I removed all 3.5 settings, and now the publish v3.6 works fine.
