Sample XML file triggering the bug

Trying to open an XML file of a schema unknown to LibreOffice results in an unhelpful error dialog which says "General Error. General input/output error." Please replace this error message with one which more specifically describes the problem (e.g., "Unknown file format").
Comment 1 Tristan Miller 2012-08-16 06:26:26 UTC
On second thought, perhaps a better course of action in this case would be to open the Filter Selection dialog so that the user can select from a list of known file formats.

REPRODUCIBLE with the reporter’s sample file (and similar generic .xml files) and
* LibreOffice 3.5.6.2 (Build-ID: e0fbe70-dcba98b-297ab39-994e618-0f858f0)
* LibreOffice 3.6.0.4 (Build ID: 932b512)
on MacOS X 10.6.8 (Intel). The same for LibreOffice 3.5.x.

Not reproducible in master builds, I believe Tor fixed it with
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=aa4b8a8164f01a120ba9bfb2e86b1ed33cc1d69c
which will be also in 3.6.2:
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?h=libreoffice-3-6&id=81db599486053dacb453bf6532406000f7a19c52

Please feel free to reopen if will be still reproducible in 3.6.2.

I'm still seeing this issue in 3.6.2.2, testcase attached.

Appears to be fixed in 3.6.5.2, so closing again....
