PPTX document with the charts that do not render correctly.

Problem description:
PPTX files with embedded charts (example attached) do not render correctly. In the first case, the chart type appears incorrect (multiple bars instead of split bars). In the second case, the placement of the plotting symbols is incorrect.

Steps to reproduce:
1. PowePoint document is created with embedded Excel Chart using Office 2008 (Mac)
2. File is saved as PPTX
3. File is opened in Impress.

Current behavior:
In the first chart, the split bars are replaced with multiple bars and the lengths do not seem to reflect the data (shown in table on the same slide).
In the second chart, the glyphs should be spaced according to the supplied data, but instead they appear to be evenly spaced.

Expected behavior:
I will attach a PDF showing correct rendering

Platform (if different from the browser):
Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:14.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/14.0.1

Confirmed with LoDev4.0-Beta1 on Ubuntu 12.04 X86_64.

Bug 58197 is maybe related to this bug.

Still valid on OS X 10.9, LO Version:

PDF export using

Looks quite good now.
The legend order is reversed in the first chart.
In the second chart the glyphs for the violet and red lines are not the same as in " PDF showing expected rendering of charts".
Comment 5 A (Andy) 2015-11-20 22:22:30 UTC
Buggy behaviour reproducible with LO, Win 8.1

General: The font is different and this leads to a different character rendering, different line breaks and for instance different number of text lines on slide 1.

Slide 2: Chart legend has a different order. The axis labeling has different intervals.

Slide 3: The line icons are different as described in comment 4.

Major interval setting in PP and Impress side by side

The bar chart here has a default major interval of 10% in Impress, while the same default value is 0.2 in PowerPoint.
Hence the bar chart on slide 2 has twice as much X axis labels as in PowerPoint
