Problem description: Steps to reproduce: 1. Download LibO_3.5.6_MacOS_x86_langpack_nl.dmg 2. Double click 3. OSX Mountain Lion says that it cannot be opened for security reasons, the install package is from an untrusted developer. Current behavior: Cannot install due to missing developer certificate Expected behavior: Install works Platform (if different from the browser): Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.8; rv:14.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/14.0.1
How to install : Right mouse button click on the language installer, choose "Open", answer yes to the question about installing from an unknown source. Or, alternatively : switch the default Gatekeeper settings to allow software from anywhere to be installed on the system, then install the lang pack. Alex
I know the workaround, but that's not a solution for normal users. Gatekeeper default settings prevents users from running unsigned software. All other software like Firefox does have a developer certificate. LibreOffice should also.
