Description Roman Eisele 2012-09-24 15:04:40 UTC
On the German page
   http://de.libreoffice.org/download/installation/
the section with hints for Mac OS X users has the headline “Apple Macintosh”.
IMHO this is not a good idea, at least not today. Two reasons:

1) As far as I can remember, Apple does not use the word “Macintosh” often (or not at all) since a few years -- only “Mac Pro”, “MacBook”, “iMac”, etc.

2) The other headlines on the same page speak of “Windows” and “Linux”, i.e. mention operating system names. But “Apple Macintosh” was a hardware name. The operating system was called “System 7”, “MacOS 8”, “MacOS 9”, and now “Mac OS X”.

Therefore I suggest that the headline should read “Mac OS X” instead, just like on the other page:

Silverstripe isn't fast enough ;-)
Headline changed

Wow -- you are right, it is really not fast enough. You have won! ;-)

Headline is ok now.

I “assign” this to you and set the status to “RESOLVED FIXED”, so you have fixed one more bug.
