To reproduce:

In A1, enter "abc"
In A2, enter "=if(A1="";"";A1)

->A2 now contains "abc". Good

Select A1 and Delete (backspace/del)

->A2 still contains "abc". Not good. Expected: blank cell.


Homebrew clean master build: Version 3.7.0.0.alpha0+ (Build ID: 01e6335)

attaching an ogv. Haven't tried other formulæ yet.

looks like https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=55059, but this is an issue in 3.7 still.

Autocalculate is on
F9 does nothing
Ctrl+Shift+F9 calculates well.

I can't confirm this with build:

Version 4.1.0.0.alpha0+ (Build ID: dfd474710f959dcf78038deb990c3618b467ec6)

Please test with newer pull and if it's still a problem for you reopen as UNCONFIRMED. Marking as WORKSFORME.
