@ simonyan.so:

Thank you very much for your bug report!

However, it would be much easier to handle your report if you could describe in some detail *what* is wrong about the formatting of this RTF file when you open it in LibreOffice.

Do you happen to know if the formatting of this document correct in some earlier version of LibreOffice/OpenOffice.org?

It would be even better if you could document the wrong formatting by some screenshots, i.e. by a screenshot of the correct formatting (the document opened in MS Office, or some earlier version of LibreOffice/OpenOffice.org, if the formatting was correct there), and by a screenshot of the wrong formatting in LibreOffice 3.6.

This would be very helpful. Thank you very much in advance!

Comment 7 Roman Eisele 2012-10-02 10:02:13 UTC
Thank you very much for the screenshots!

Now it is obvious what’s wrong.

I can confirm [REPRODUCIBLE] that the layout of the table is mostly broken both in LibreOffice 3.5.x -- even in the last (3.5.7.1) release --, and in LibreOffice 3.6.0.4/3.6.1.x, just as visible on the screenshots. This was a regression against LibreOffice 3.4.

However, there are good news:
this bug was fixed in the 3.6.2 development process, and the sample file opens correctly again in LibreOffice 3.6.2.2, which will be release officially in a few days. You can already download it right now from
  http://www.libreoffice.org/download/pre-releases/
even if it is still labeled as a “pre-release” version, and test this yourself.

Using LibreOffice 3.6.2.2, the layout looks again like in LibreOffice 3.4.x and in MS Office. So IMHO this bug is fixed and can be closed as RESOLVED/WORKSFORME.

Thank you again!
