Description mechaxl 2012-10-02 15:22:51 UTC
The read-only mode is a huge drawback when doing lots of testing involving downloading CSV files. I want to download a CSV file, and play around with it a bit to make sure that the data is ok. This includes doing simple things like SUM, sorting, etc. I don't want to have to manually manage the clutter involved in resaving the file under a different name, I just want to open it, make sure that the data is sane, and then close Calc and forget about it.

Currently, I can't do anything with the file, because it gets opened in read-only mode. This should be changed so that a warning pops up upon save, or something like that.
