Description ffs 2012-10-05 20:06:05 UTC
this probably isn't owt to do with layouts but something else but this is how I came to this problem...

If I have a text box and place a " " or <cr> in it without bullets it becomes very very hard to find again once the focus has moved from it.

After this if I apply a layout one of the text boxes is invisible - presumably in inheirits the space or CR but can't be seen.

Sometimes it is possible to select it with a large gesture but since it is invisible it is very hit and miss and difficult to select and type into.

So I suppose the bug is:

Text boxes should be easier to select when they contain only invisible characters.
Equally they should be selectable from regions within them which don't contain text (at present they can only be clicked on the text.

If anyone can tell me how to insert a new text box with a selectable height (instead of automatic) that would be very useful!

In my opinion this more an enhancement than a bug and therefore I have marked it as enhancement.

And I agree it would be good to have a function which creates a schedule with all elements on this slide, so that you can select for instance such "invisible" elements like empty textboxes or white rectangles, in order to change them or to clean the slide from such elements.
