Description grahamlovatt 2012-10-10 08:44:06 UTC
Problem description:
I have a grid of cells 7x20, one row for each day of the week, cells may contain no data today
Daily I update the relevant cells
I want to copy and paste this grid to another sheet in the same book
I select grid and copy, go to other sheet right click a cell, select paste special, click 'paste all' and 'link'
The contents of the cells are pasted as links, but only the cells that have content, blank cells do not contain the link

Steps to reproduce:
1. select & copy a grid of cells - some containing data some not
2. on other page right click a cell, select paste special, click 'paste all' and 'link'
3. observe that only cells that contained data are linked

Current behavior: no data cells not linked

Expected behavior: all cells are linked

Platform (if different from the browser):

Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:15.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/15.0.1

Confirmed with:
LO 4.0.2.2
Build ID: own W7 debug build
Windows 7 Professional SP1 64 bit

Empty cells are not linked. Excel 2010 copies links for empty cells.
