Description Lucas Capalbo 2012-10-22 14:51:58 UTC
Problem description: App's menu is either:
a) not showing up in menubar after opening a file
b) showing up, but it's not responsive. Nothing happen when selecting an item
HUD integration is broken for all libreoffice apps in everycase.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open some LO file by clicking it in dash' results o double click in nautilus
2. Try to use the menu.

Current behavior: Either a) or b) occurs. HUD doesn't work either. If the window is unfocused (eg by clicking another app like nautilus) and then focused again, menu is shown correctly --but it may not be responsive, and HUD won't integrate either

Expected behavior: menu showing up, responsive and HUD-searchable evary time.

** It all works nice if you open the app first (eg Writer) and then use file->open to open the file.

Platform (if different from the browser): Ubuntu 12.10 with stack LO

Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:16.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/16.0

also, even while I selected the option to always show menu icons, icons are not shown in the global menu. Maybe it's not implemented yet or should be filed as a new bug.
ps: Sorry if I made some grammatical horror, English is not my main language XD

mostly a dupe of 56625/lp#1064962. please open a separate bug for stuff not covered in those.
