Problem description: Steps to reproduce: The option Tools > Macros > Record Macro does not exist, as explained in the help page "Recording a Macro" The only options I have are "Run Macro...", "Organize Macros" and "Organize Dialogs" Current behavior: Expected behavior: Platform (if different from the browser): Win 7 Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:16.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/16.0
@svp: I am pretty sure that you simply did not check menu 'Tools -> Options -> LibO -> General - Activate Macro recording. --- Help is too short. In (Writer) 'Help -> LibO Help -> Text Documents -> Contents (tab) -> Text Documents -> Command and Menu Reference -> Tools -> Macros' I find "Record Macro" with help text "Records a new macro.". I recommend to add "Only available if Activated in 'Tools -> Options -> LibreOffice -> Acvanced' (may be with a direct link to the dialog) I know that info is available under Heading "Recording a Macro", But I doubt that many users will go to there after they did no find the item in the menu.
