Description elkatny.ziad 2012-12-25 16:59:56 UTC
Problem description:
Impossible to launch libreoffice without being su.

Steps to reproduce: Nothing particular

Current behavior:
Launch OK with su, with following message repeatedly shown on command window (window to elevate to root, then to launch libreoffice):
(soffice:3209): GConf-WARNING **: Client failed to connect to the D-BUS daemon:
Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.
GConf warning: failure listing pairs in `/apps/openoffice': No D-BUS daemon running

Expected behavior:

Operating System: Linux (Other)
Version: 3.6.2.2 release

Not nearly enough info to reproduce this but none the less, myself as well as every QA member and developer using Linux can run LibreOffice without being super user.

If this is still a problem please tell us
a) how did you install
b) What your system distribution is
c) Any additional info that will help us help you.
