Manually installed a Portuguese dictionary and then noticed there was a newer version.

Manually adding the new version warned of existing version and offered to update.

Ended with error:

updating from the 12.10.1 to the 13.1.1 releases

The update failed in LOdev Version 4.0.0.1+ (Build ID: fe3bcdac912580607611475bfc3b0fa478a54ec)
I selected Version 4.0beta2 because 4.0.0.1 is not available yet

This update worked correctly in LibreOffice 3.5.7.2 so it's a regression.

High - easy workaround (remove older version) but it is a regression so leaving as high

I can also add that the update works correctly on version 3.6.4.3 under Win XP Pro x86 SP3.
It is a version 4.0+ problem only.

Retesting.

Installed 14.1.1.1. Check for updates... Does not find anything but since I'm not sure if this extension is officially supported maybe that is expected and this bug is about manual update.

So downloaded 14.10.2.1 and opened that with LO. it asks to replace the existing version. I confirm with "OK" and receive no error. The extension is updated as expected.

Confirmed that the bug no longer occurs using LO 4.3.2.2 under Windows XP Pro x86 SP3.
