http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=24023 has 20 visio 2003 examples. These do not convert nicely. Especially text not wrapping like the original. 

Used libvisio 0.0.24 and vsd2svg 0.0.3 on OSX and Windows.

Yeah, text wrapping in SVG ;) Feel free to find a way and post a patch :)

I'm able to open visio files but the links between the boxes created in the visio are lost. i.e. if I move a box in the flowchart, the link is getting detached, where the same action in Visio, will not detach the connection between 2 boxes.

I experienced this issue in "LibreOffice_4.0.2_Win_x86.msi". Let me know if you need more information.

Do you have original 20 visio 2003 examples?
It is no longer available for download.
