Created attachment 73780 [details] Just a table Problem description: Copy a table in Writer. Paste it in Calc as unformatted text. The table does not look like itself in Writer. Steps to reproduce: 1. The operating system used is Linux debian 2.6.32-5-686 #1 SMP Sun Sep 23 09:49:36 UTC 2012 i686 GNU/Linux. 2. This issue affects: - LibreOffice Version 3.6.4.3 (Build ID: 2ef5aff) - LibreOffice Version 4.0.0.2 (Build ID: 408fe71bd18616c467b3dcd7ab6756528ffcae2) 3. File-> Open-> attached sample odt file -> Select the whole table in the odt file. 4. Edit-> Copy 5. File-> New-> Spreadsheet 6. Press Paste drop-down arrow (Standard toolbar)-> Unformatted text-> OK a is in A1, but b is not in B1. a is not in A2, and b is not in B2. 7. The data are not displayed like the table in the odt file. Current behavior: The table becomes a list of data and does not look like a table in Calc. Expected behavior: The table should look like a table in Calc and should not become a list of data, e.g. a in A1, a in A2, b in B1, and b in B2 Operating System: Debian Version: 3.6.4.3 release

I can reproduce with: Win7x64 Ultimate Version 3.6.5.2 (Build ID: 5b93205) Version 4.0.0.2 (Build ID: 5991f37846fc3763493029c4958b57282c2597e) Version 4.0.1.0+ (Build ID: c4820200312e3d50a12d3605147772759938bcf) Version 4.1.0.0.alpha0+ (Build ID: 8cad36dfcd6e4ae583332bf34b8bbf0ceb19aa9) And became a list data only with "Unicode" character set, with any other only the first value.
Confirm reproducing the same issue in LibreOffice Version: 4.2.0.4 (Build ID: 05dceb5d363845f2cf968344d7adab8dcfb2ba71).
