The switch order now is Left, Right, Decimal, Center.
Decimal should be placed at the end as the most rarely used type.

Indeed - seems a bit more intuitive. Wouldn't say it's a bug, enhancement, but I'll take it.

Unfortunately I just haven't had the time to solve this bug - if I make any progress I will report back but until then setting back to default and NEW

Joel Madero committed a patch related to this issue.
It has been pushed to "master":

It seems like in the meantime this was taken care of by someone. Checked on 4.2 master and it's indeed now correct. Marking as WFM as I have no clue who solved it nor with what patch
