Created attachment 74284 [details] CX-Supervisor with the point dialog opened Problem description: I have the sofware CX-Supervisor (Omron), that is a tool able to realize a supervision useful in a big industrial automation environments. So, in that application, there is a section called "Points". In the above section, I can add/edit/remove some points... there is also an option for copy a point and than paste it in other text programs. If I copy and paste from CX-Supervisor to Notepad (or, for example, Notepad++), I will have a correct behaviour. But, if I copy and paste from CX-Supervisor to Libreoffice Calc (or other sub-program, like Writer), I don't see anything. In other word, the "paste" function doesn't works. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open a CX-Supervisor 2. Open tab "points" 3. Copy a point 4. Open LibreOffice Calc 5. Paste Current behavior: Paste procedure doesn't works. Expected behavior: The Paste option must add a row with a certain number of columns. Operating System: Windows 7 Version: 3.6.5.2 release
This is virtually impossible for anyone to deal with as the software is closed source and no one else that I've spoken with has ever used it. Options: #1 - find open source software that has the same problem with LibreOffice and then report a new bug. #2 - report a bug to your software vendor #3 - attain support through a private company for TDF (there are quite a few out there, I don't want to recommend a single one but if you google around there are some that exist). Closing as NOTOURBUG as there is no other software that demonstrates the same problem (that I'm aware of) so it's likely unique to that closed source software and therefore NOTOURBUG.
