When you format a currency cell the number usually turns red if the amount is negative. Up to 3.4 this worked also if the number is calculated. However, after having upgraded to 4.0 the negative numbers appear black iff the cell contains a formula but work correctly if the cell is the number directly.
Also noticed this error since 4.0.0.3 upgrade. But when formulas with negative values change/recalculated, the become correctly colored as red.
NOT reproducible with Server Installation of "LibO 4.0.0.3 rc - GERMAN UI / German Locale [Build ID: 7545bee9c2a0782548772a21bc84a9dcc583b89)]" {tinderbox: @6, pull time 2013-01-31 11:30(?)} on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) with separate new User Profile: When into a Currency formatted cell I type "=-1-1" <Enter> the result "-2€" will be shown in red. But I think reporter forgot to mention the detail that that problem appears when he opens the document? Very rare problem description, but probably DUP of "Bug 60215 - FILEOPEN: FORMATTING of value-related color, localized decimal separator and Currency VIEWING need Complete Recalculation" @Reporter: Please feel free to reopen this Bug if you find evidence that we have an independent issue here (for example because the fix for the other bug does not work for you). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 60215 ***
this bug appears in Linux edition too. Even if corrected and negative numbers are displayed in red, then file is saved, closed and reopened these negative numbers are not displayed in red
