pdf file showing the oject in various positions and explanations

Problem description: When entering text in a asymetric object (e.g arrow top and right, see attachement) and flipping (vertically) or rotating the object by 90 deg, the text cannot be displayed in normal reading position

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create an asymetric object from Draw toolbar
2. Clik to enter text
3. Enter text
4. Click outside the object
5. Select object
6. Flip object vertically or rotate object by 90 deg
=> text is not in normal reading position and cannot be flipped or rotatet into normal reading position whike keeping the object in desired position (flipped vertically or rotated by 90 deg)

Current behavior:
Text flips/rotates with object and cannot be turned back into normal reading position

Expected behavior:
When an object is flipped or rotated, a functionality is needed to keep text direction in the normal way.

Thanks for reporting!

I do agree this will be very helpful. This is not a bug but an enhancement request. Therefore I mark it a such.

Kind regards,
Joren

ODF itself has no "upright" property for shapes. And emulating the "upright" property of OOXML is not yet implemented.

Is there any update on this?

Sorry, a UI is still missing. You need a macro for the rotation or need to edit the file markup.
