Copy from chart object will not paste anything visible to any other Libreoffice document in any way. (two alternative paste method available in paste special menu) Though this description is light, this is easy to test and developpers should understand that missing this kind of functionality the whole Libre office becomes useless to large audience among ordinary office workkers.

Sorry wrong dupe, looking for the correct one now
Version 4.1.0.0.alpha0+ (Build ID: 9601a571d42b0199bdccf2256fc8be82e14af8a) Date: Mon Feb 18 23:22:17 2013 +0100 Bodhi Linux 2.2 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ New (confirmed) Blocker (big problem that we can't copy/paste charts regularly) Highest (default, no need to change this) I think that this is a duplicate but I can't seem to find it. @Markus - your territory? Apologies if this is a dupe that you already know about, just can't track it down)
Also adding Kohei and Michael just so they are aware of this one.
I am moving this back to UNCONFIRMED as apparently I did something wrong the first time - second attempt copy/paste worked fine. @Heikki - what is GDI metafile?
Sorry for the spamming, keep saving changes without finishing my thoughts; Moving to NEEDINFO. @Heikki - even though it may be obvious to developers, our QA still needs to triage and we need reproducible steps and a test document if you have one available. Once you provide steps, open but as UNCONFIRMED and I will look at it. Once again, sorry to all for the spamming
