Comment 1 NWinkler 2013-03-07 12:07:41 UTC
Sorry, but I can't confirm.

File.New.Templates shows correctly the "Template Manager" Dialog.

small hint:
I've downloaded the multilingual Version
from http://de.libreoffice.org/download/?type=win-x86&lang=en-US
So I can change the menu settings in
Extras.Optionen.Spracheinstellungen.Sprachen.Benutzeroberfläche
to see the english version of menu and dialogs.
After describing a problem for bug I change back to german menus.

Operating System: Windows 7
Version: 4.0.1.2 release

I have fields in templates. These fields will be opened in case of using the template at the start and prompt you to enter information. In version 3.6.5, it still works very well. Starting with version 4.0.0. no more.

OK,

If you would describe (in your bug description text as the first steps), how to build a test template with fields I'd try to reproduce this bug in the next few days to probably confirm your bug

Can I send you this template for a example?

Template with fields

Here a example of fields.

Make a new file first with 3.6 and later with 4.0.

Hello,

Unconfirmed with LO 4.0.2.0+, LO 4.0.1.1 and Windows 7 Home Premium. All dialog boxes open.

Regards.

(In reply to comment #5)
with the attached example I can confirm that 4.0.1.2 doesn't open the dialogs.

It seems that
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61291
is a duplicate report of this bug.
They give a hint to a workaround in simply open the .ott by open file.
That works.

Yes. The entry fields work just fine when you click, double-click the file. However, if you have created a directory to USER / templates / and will not start in the template manager. Templates let the input fields of the dialog manage inactive.

my intention was rather that both 61291 + 61959 are unconfirmed but describing the same bug.
One of them should be marked as duplicate and the other as confirmed.
But I think that is the task of the posters to do it in collaboration.
Or???

Its been fixed by this commit

http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=27f93b3b851e59d254bf5cd3825c8691d0ff3b51

Try testing it again from the daily builds in 48hrs, but as far i can tell in current master (linux) works again. Thanks for submitting the bug. If you think its still not fixed reopen the bug.
