This is actually not a bug but a missing feature.
(I'm using the German version, so hopefully the mentioned options match the English version.)

Problem description: 
There is no option to export handouts directly as PDF.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Export to PDF



Current behavior:
There is an option for notes, but not an option for handouts like in the print dialogue.

Expected behavior:
Option for handouts.
