This is a proposition of enhencement : ==================================== I'am a very intensive user of word processing like Writer and MSword for my work. A feature that is laking is when you work for couples of personnes and want to let your document in two places : --> First place could be the directory where I work (on network or on local) --> Second place a directory on network where other people can consult it. It will be very useful to be able to save at the both place at one time ! So i see it like an option for the document in "tool" for exemple or in "save as..." or else where : In a little window the feature could consist in specifie 2 or more location where the document will be save at every time the user make a "save" opération. We could specifie wich is the place where the reference document (= master document) will be. thank you
I am not aware of any software offering such functionality and for a good reason. I highly doubt this will ever see the light of day. Also having identical files in several locations on your harddrive is wasting space and ineffective. You'll end up in different versions of the same file and a big chaos. Closing as WONTFIX.
After discussion in QA IRC there were several opinions on this. I'm re-opening, but still believe this won't happen. We can re-evaluate in 10 years. If this has not happened in 2026, I want someone from the future to close this report for me :D

Regardless if this is a good workflow, it should't be resolved in LO, where users normally don't need it. I'm not aware of any software having this option. This may be OS script/task, to copy certain files somewhere. But if you want it in LO, then it's for multi-path extension, like those for multi-format https://extensions.libreoffice.org/en/extensions/show/multisave-1 and https://extensions.libreoffice.org/en/extensions/show/multidiff. I'm putting to WontFix again.
