Problem description: 
1C:Enterprise 8

1C exports the report to XLS, which does not display properly in the LibreOffice.

Same problem at LO 3.6 and 4.0.2.RC2.

P.S. Maybe this information may somehow help:
Microsoft VBA command "Print ActiveWorkbook.FileFormat" print:
56 = xlExcel8 (97-2003 format in Excel 2007-2010, xls)

updating version -

version reflects oldest version we have confirmed issue, you say it's present in 3.6 series so changed accordingly
