Screenshot of on ODS file showing the formulas instead of the results

With release 4.0 it happens now and then, that on opening an existing ODS file, instead of figures only the corresponding formulars are shown.
In other words, instead of any number you see something like "=F34*0,95".
In the preview, however, in the PDF export and so on, all numbers are shwon correctly.

Operating System: Windows 7
Version: 4.0.0.3 release

@moggi:
Sounds pretty much like cached values going awry.

@Andre:
Can you reproduce this with a certain document you could attach?
Do things change when you press Shift+Ctrl+F9 (hard recalc)?

Marking it as NEEDINFO, until response of Bug reporter.

@Bug reporter: please provide requested information. Feel free to mark bug back as UNCONFIRMED afterwards.

Kind regards,
Joren

And can you check if maybe the migration messed the setting for the Show Forumula Option? That one enables viewing formulas instead of results. I very much doubt that this is realted to cached value import as there should be no way to end up with a formula that is not compiled.

The key combination SHIFT + CTRL + F9 does not have any effect.

The attached file has been created in 2012-08 under V3.65 faultlessly....
Comment 5 André van den Berg 2013-04-10 20:04:29 UTC
Markus Mohrhard has discovered the reason for the strange behaviour. :-)

I didn´t know that there is an option to check and uncheck whether formulars are be shown in the cells. :-o

This means, the update routine from 3.65 to 4.00 changed the former default settings. :-(

Thank you to Markus Mohrhard.

No fix, not FIXED.
Due to the comments this one seems to be a DUP of "Bug 60755 - Display formula in cell instead of value of result after editing formula, undedited cells not affected"

@André, please do not change the status of bugs, except:
Please feel free to reopen this Bug if you find evidence that we have an independent issue here (for example because the fix for the other bug does not work for you).
