Print Screen with the problem.

Replication Steps:
1) Open LibreOffice Writer.
2) Minimize the Writer panel and move it to the left so that the "Font Name" drop down list is half-cropped outside the screen.
3) Click on the drop down list.

Expected behavior:
The drop down list should be placed slightly to the left of the screen and should be fully readable.

Actual behavior:
The drop down list unfolds and is half cropped and not fully readable. Please see attached image as an example. (In Windows Office, the drop down is displayed as expected)

This is consistent across all LibreOffice modules.

Thanks for reporting!

I can confirm the dropdown menu should be displayed a bit more to the left. This is also the behavior when you place your window to far to the bottom, then open the same dropdown list. Behavior: dropdown list is placed above.

Workaround: don't move the window to far to the left ;-).

Priority: minor low

LO dropdown menu crossing screen boundary (on the left)

Actually this issue is much more serious as it affects multi monitor setups too. In the case of multi monitor setup, it is not necessary to drag LO window anywhere, just being full screen or next to divide between screens is enough.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Enable split screen setup;
2) Place a maximised LO window on the right screen;
3) Click on any drop-down menus located in the left part of LO window (i.e. File, Edit, View);
4) Observe how menu is split between screens.

Tested with:
Version: 6.0.1.1
