Screenshot: Titlebar shows correct name, dialog box shows name truncated.

I like to save some files with a version number; e.g. "MyFile V1.3.odt".

With KDE-integration, when doing either a "Save As" or "Export", the above file name would be truncated to: "MyFile V1.odt" or "MyFile V1.pdf".

This appears only to be a problem with KDE-integration. If I perform the same operations with LibreOffice on Windows, or use the internal open/save dialog boxes, the problem disappears.

I have also tried a similar "Save As" using KWrite, and the problem does not exist, so it seems to be a problem with the integration rather than the KDE dialog boxes themselves.

Hi Ian

This looks extremely similar to Bug 52546 . It was fixed in 3.6.1. You have not said explicitly what version are you using, but bug is reported against 3.5.4. This version is indeed broken and since 3.5 line reached it's end of life, it won't be fixed in 3.5 series.

Therefore, I mark this as duplicate of that bug.

Please upgrade to either 3.6.6 or 4.0.4 and check if problem persists. If so, please reopen this bug (or simply put a comment - I will handle the rest).

Best regards
Mirosław Zalewski
