Description Jorendc 2013-05-08 14:20:27 UTC
How to reproduce:
* Open Writer
* File > Save as template...
* My templates
* Save
* name: test
* close dialog

Do it all over again:
* File > Save as template
* Save (in My templates, but because it's the last used folder it opens by default)
* name: test
* Overwrite -> YES

Behavior: duplicate template in list.

Workaround: refresh the dialog by clicking on the wheel -> update

to me this seems to be related (side effect of incorrect overwriting) to the last part of bug 70538 (using this duplicated template if not possible anymore, restart helps).

I guess this will be resolved if bug 74475 is fixed...

Lets mark this one as dupe of bug 74475.

We discussed this behavior on the UX hackfest right now. The correct behavior should be: close the dialog after you successfully saved a template (which is suggested in bug 74475). This is the same behavior as saving as a regular file.

Lets fix that bug, so this bug is 'obsolete' because we will not return to this dialog afterwards.

Kind regards,
Joren
